My Bio

After spending most of my life in San Francisco, performing since the age of 6, studying Big Band, Jazz, and Rock & Rool, we picked up stakes and relocated to Kauai, Hawaii. Barbra, Alexis and I had 10 wonderfull years exploring the Hawaiian culture and tropical beauty. In 1998 we returned the mainland to visit family in Plymouth, MI and decided to make it home. A few days after landing in the Detroit area, I spoke to Steve Allen of Steve and Rocky's and sat down at the piano for a few nights "to see how it goes..." Six years later it is still my musical home. Through the years, many patrons have become fans and requested recordings. To them, I dedicate this collection. This is just a small compilation of some tunes that are requested by many. My notations are simple, fond remembrances. With time and space not permitting all of your requests, please keep coming back to dine and listen to good fare, and I will continue to record. "Always" will be always be for young lovers and Les was one a long time ago; "Some-where in Time" is dedicated to all you Michiganders and to romantic nights on Mackinac Island; "Wind Beneath My Wings" to the Mansfields; "Somewhere My Love" to Sidney and Harriot Hiller; "These Foolish Things" to our favorite dinner companions, Barry and Shirley Wood; "It had to Be you" to Hough, of course; "Danny Boy" to the Caseys; "Even Now" to Much and Barry; "Beyond the Sea" to the Stanleys; "Moon River" to Sabina; "Unchained Melody" to Bill and Madeline Short "when in doubt order the perch..."; "Young at Heart" to Pat and her friends and family; "Rainbow Connection" to Liz; and "Niagara" to my delight, Barbara.
